As the Webmaster at the Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance I was required to keep abreast with new and emerging practices ensuring that many aspects of the EAA’s online presence was updated. One the major components that needed updating was their email marketing. They were running on an older listerv type system that had rudimentary capabilities that was not conducive to properly managing engagement.
I migrated nearly 2000 emails and contacts over to a new email marketing system (Mailchimp). I also designed new email templates for various campaigns and types of emails that would be sent out. Furthermore I help segment the EAA’s mailing audience and increase engagement by actively gauging interest based on Mailchimp analytics.
